Nice to know you

Morning View coalesced in 2023 with the lineup of Pea Munny (vocals, samples, percussion), Ian Palmer (guitar, vocals), Jake Hostert (bass) and Kari Ann O'Leary (drums) – but the roots of the group date back years prior as Munny had been long seeking the right group of musicians to bring one of his favorite groups' catalogs to life.

The quartet knew each other from the Chicago tribute band scene, and spent almost a year honing a set before debuting at Q Bar in Darien, IL. Interest in the group grew rapidly due to the infectious stage energy and musically accomplished presentation of Incubus's hits and deeper cuts, and they were soon confirmed for gigs at Rochaus in West Dundee, IL opening for Freak On A Leash, and playing other large venues such as The Piazza in Aurora, IL.

2025 saw a continuation of the band solidifying their playing schedule in locales near and far, with a highlight being Naperville's well-known Naper Nights festival in July, opening for Android Paranoid.

The future looks bright for Morning View, as they expand their set list with new favorites and evolve their stagecraft to bring you an even more thrilling interpretation of the music of Incubus.
